I came back to have my one month follow up from radiation appointment Dec. 31st. It is hard to believe that radiation was one month ago. Yikes that went fast. This appointment was a little different. I got a paper packet. It has my whole history with dates with all the things that happened. We went through my whole journey. There was a lot there. Even the ER visit was there. It is nice to have it all in one place. Then we talked about the next steps. I will have to see a doctor every three months. The doctors tag team. My oncology doctor is leaving the hospital. I will miss him, he got my sense of humor. So I'm not sure who will be my new doctor. I have a chemo lite appointment soon, I will ask then.

She checked my skin to make sure it was healing. I have to say, I have a tan, where I have never had a tan. (my underarm)
I spent New Year's Eve with some amazing people. There was a lot of laughter and good food. God has blessed me with wonderful people in my life. The New Year's Eve church service was also great.

I usually don't make big New Year's resolutions. One year I started a Joy jar to keep me focused on the great things happening in my life. I still have a joy jar. and yes it is full. I am going to keep that going in 2020. I'm not sure what my resolutions should be. A friend journals a Bible passage a day. I was going to try that, or maybe do once a week. I would like to take time each week to make sure I do something fun or creative. Like work on my quilts, crochet or knit. I also want to stay focused on how blessed I have been. And how thankful I am for all the people God has put in my life. Maybe it should be to make sure people know that I appreciate them.
I know I will have a different attitude going into 2020.
I have a plastic appointment coming up. I am even on both sides. So they will evaluate me and we will talk about the next steps for the new girls.
There is still much more that I have to learn about. My energy level isn't where the doctor's want it to be. That is connected to my hemoglobin level. So we are talking about what can be done and what I need to do.
I can say my hair is coming back. I am deciding on styles and colors.
I guess I will make my New Year's resolutions later in January. I'm still not sure what they will be.

Love the new hairdo. Super cute!
