This year, I can drink, but I can't go out to eat. My dear friends dropped off a cake for me. and balloons. That made my day. I'm so blessed to have caring friends who knew I needed someone to stop by and take time to talk to me.
I have made only 50 masks. I had to find a pattern that didn't need elastic. There is no elastic to be found. I made most of my masks with ties. Those took time to make. Some I used seam binding. I did dig around and found some elastic I could use. I also used ribbon that I had.

Last summer I knit hats for soldiers and this spring I made masks for those who need them. I have added my numbers to the total number of masks made by the members of the DAR. I'm so proud to be part of that organization.
I also became a Google Certified Educator. Yes another badge. Now I'm working on getting another badge or two. I am also going to be working on my level two certification for my Arts integration. For that I had to apply. I also had to have an interview. It was virtual, not because if Covid, but because we are in different states. My Arts integration doesn't start until July and it takes one year. So next June I will be done.
I was blessed to drop off food for the food pantry that my church runs. I'm so glad that I can drop off food and help others.
My pastor and other pastors have been posting daily devotions. How wonderful it is to hear God's Word every day. Now I usually read my devotions. Now I get to hear and watch pastor talk about God's word. That is the big blessing that has come due to Covid 19.
